North Campus Open Space (Ocean Meadows)

North Campus Open Space

UCSB and the UC Regents now own the former Ocean Meadows property and are working collaboratively with a number of local, state and federal partners to design and implement the restoration of this former estuary system. Upcoming public meetings will focus on the ecological goals of the restoration project and their integration with the public access components. Funding is being raised from a diversity of sources to support this project. Please feel free to visit the North Campus Open Space during daylight hours and provide your comments.

For more information, please see: NCOS Web Site

The North Campus Open Space area will add 64 acres to the 665 acres of contiguous open space made permanent in the Ellwood-Devereux Coast Joint Proposal process.
